I randomly found the Twelve Kingdoms disc one at a video game place on their used DVD rack. I saw the cover work and decided I would give it a try. I am officially hooked and I can't wait for the book release, but I want to see more of the story of these wonderful characters. It would truly be a shame to let such an amazing work of storytelling come to life simply end where it has.

After watching juuni kokki, i think i've found my favorite anime. It is probably the most well done anime i've watched and its story has me completely lost in it. Please continue the anime >< its a harsh way to end such a wonderful anime.

I do understand the creative intentions of the author, Fuyumi Ono sensei. She probably did not want to linger on something for too long (which in the case of Twelve Kingdoms means a decade).

Twelve Kingdoms is absolutely too good to have such a cliffhanger for an ending. I'd certainly be glad to wait for as long as it takes for her to pick up from where she left off to give us the ending the story deserves.
